National Smart Government Services Window Reaches 60 Million Users
The National Smart Government Services Window has surpassed 60 million users as it expands its capabilities and launches third and fourth-level authentication features.
According to the Public Relations of the Information Technology Organization of Iran, the National Smart Government Services Window is recognized as a fundamental pillar of digital governance. It aims to provide integrated services, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and facilitate citizens' access to government services, with continuous advancements being made.
Majid Fouladian, Director General of the Monitoring and Supervision Office for Electronic Government Implementation, explained the current status of the National Window. He highlighted that by leveraging modern technologies, the quality and range of electronic services have improved significantly, enhancing the user experience when interacting with government services.
He identified key objectives of the system as simplification of processes, increased transparency, and the elimination of in-person visits. As the number of users grows, the development of new capabilities is also a priority. Strategic plans to enhance technical infrastructures, optimize digital interactions, and strengthen responsiveness to citizens' needs are essential for achieving a smart government and improving the quality of life for the population.
Fouladian pointed out that levels three and four of authentication have recently been launched in the National Smart Government Services Window. The first level is based on OTP codes, while the second level relies on information recorded in national systems (such as Shakhar and Civil Registration). The third level includes live validation and facial recognition against the national smart ID card.
Regarding future authentication levels, Fouladian explained that the fourth level will provide digital signature capabilities for transactions and formal document signing. These features, accessible through the official application of the National Smart Government Services Window, significantly enhance the security of electronic transactions and bolster the necessary legal and technical infrastructures for digital government development.
Additionally, Fouladian announced that a new system for documenting user service interactions is nearing completion. This system automatically records every step of service provision, enabling precise tracking of requests from submission to final delivery. By eliminating the need for manual data entry, the system prevents data loss and greatly increases transparency and traceability. Users can monitor and follow all stages of service receipt using their unique identifiers.
He also described a satisfaction measurement system for evaluating service quality, which has been designed to continuously improve the quality of digital services.
This system creates a comprehensive process for collecting, analyzing, and utilizing feedback from both real and corporate users, as well as foreign nationals, establishing a data-driven decision-making environment to optimize government services. User feedback is recorded and analyzed in real time after receiving services, and the results play a critical role in enhancing the overall quality of services provided.
