Digital Transformation Program Launched for Iranian "Land Single Window" platform
Tehran, Iran - May 9, 2025 - The official launch of a digital transformation program for the "Land Single Window" platform was announced today, marking a significant step towards intelligent land management in Iran.
The announcement followed a meeting attended by representatives from academic institutions, research organizations, and private sector stakeholders, where the various aspects of the transformation were discussed, focusing on the shift from e-government to a smart platform.
Maziar Mobasheri, Director General of Smart Government Services Infrastructure Development, outlined a multi-stage plan for the system's evolution during the meeting. "The implementation of the single window began in previous years, and the next steps involve the establishment of a land services platform within the next two years, culminating in the operation of an intelligent land platform," Mobasheri stated.
He further elaborated on the platform's intended benefits for various stakeholders. "The land platform has three key components: applicants, the government, and businesses. From the government's perspective, the delivery of interactive, collaborative, integrated, and intelligent services is paramount, while applicants expect transparent, fast, fair, and personalized services. Businesses, on the other hand, anticipate opportunities for investment, value creation, and the utilization of shared data and services."
Mobasheri emphasized that all developmental activities and architectural changes to the system must be designed based on these needs and expectations, ensuring compliance with the Seventh National Development Plan and maximizing stakeholder satisfaction.
He also highlighted the importance of securing continuous satellite imagery and strengthening artificial intelligence-based processing infrastructure for the land monitoring subsystem as key developmental requirements.
The "Land Single Window" system is one of the 20 strategic e-government projects aimed at streamlining land-related permitting and providing satellite-based land monitoring across the country. The platform is currently accessible to applicants at https://zamin.gov.ir
