TEHRAN - The Public Relations Department of Iran's Information Technology Organization reported, in a two-day event that took place at Shahid Qandi conference hall, the life cycle of data centers, and data center standards were discussed and reviewed.
Dr. Ali Asghar Ansari, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology Strategic Planning and Supervision, Hamed Mankarsi, Deputy Minister of Policy Making and Accreditation, and some official representatives of Nasr Organization (Iran Information Technology & Communications Guild Organization) attended the event.
The training covered standards, architecture, requirements, validation methods, regulations, and processes related to identifying government data centers in the country.
The national data centers have been divided into five regions, with separate training courses for each region. The first training course was held for the first region, which includes Tehran, Alborz, Gilan, Zanjan, Qazvin, and Mazandaran.
Representatives from the IT sector of government agencies and provinces attended the course. This is part of a project to identify and pre-evaluate provincial government data centers.
