Fifth Iranian Domestic Messenger Joined the MXB
In a significant development, Mozaffari announced the integration of the Domestic Messenger; Soroush Plus into the Message Exchange Bus (MXB)Mehdi Mozaffari, the General Manager of Monitoring and Supervision of the Iranian Information Technology Organization revealed that Soroush Plus now has the capability of mutual connection with other Iranian messaging apps that is technically called the Message Exchange Bus (MXB). He then went on to provide further details on this achievement and explained: “Recently, in a groundbreaking unique move, four domestic messaging apps - Eitaa, Bale, Gap, and iGap - connected to each other for the exchange of messages, voice files, and images. Following a successful technical test, the messaging app Soroush Plus can now also join these four messaging apps. This means that users installing any of these messaging apps can communicate with users of other messaging platforms.”
With Soroush Plus joining the interconnection plan, more than 50 million users will have access to this network. This implies that each user with an Iranian messaging app can connect with a broad community of users. Over 2.2 million users now utilize MXB, and with the addition of Soroush Plus, this number is expected to increase to over 2.5 million users.
The mutual connection of Iranian messaging apps, known as the Interconnect plan, initiated by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, aims to link domestic messaging apps together. Utilizing this feature is straightforward; users simply need to access the messaging app settings menu and enable the option to connect to other messaging apps through privacy and security settings.
