Iran's Information Technology Organization Extends Invitation to Cuba for Elecomp Exhibition
In a meeting held on the periphery of the World Summit on the Information Society, the head of Iran's Information Technology Organization met with Cuba's Minister of Communications, offering an invitation for Cuba to participate in the prestigious Elecomp exhibition and engage in productive discussions with Iran's private sector. The public relations office of Iran's Information Technology Organization reported that the meeting covered various important topics, including existing agreements, work processes, and the latest advancements in joint action programs. Additionally, discussions focused on assessing the current status of Iranian private companies in Cuba, fostering collaboration between science and technology parks in both nations, organizing training courses on smart governance for Cuba's technical sector, strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity, and following up on the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the postal services of Iran and Cuba. During this meeting, the head of Iran's Information Technology Organization extended a warm invitation to Cuba's Ministry of Communications to participate in the renowned international Elecomp exhibition. The proposal to hold private sector sessions and training workshops was met with enthusiasm by the Cuban side.
