Iran Information Technology Organization Hosts Ceremony to Honor Tech Service Providers for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Arbaeen Services Will Be Available Through a Super Application Next Year

TEHRAN - In a ceremony held this morning at the Iran Information Technology Organization, providers of technological services during the “Hosseini Arbaeen” pilgrimage were honored and appreciated. Arbaeen  Services Will Be Available Through a Super Application Next Year

According to the Public Relations Office of the Iran Information Technology Organization, the event was attended by Dr. Khansari, the Deputy Minister of Communications, and some of the senior managers of leading technology companies providing innovative services to Arbaeen pilgrims.

The ceremony’s focus was on evaluating the activities, challenges and business concerns in providing service  s to pilgrims during this year's Arbaeen, as well as discussing plans for the next   year's pilgrimage vision.

While condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and wishing for the victory of Islam and seeking freedom in the world, Dr. Mohammad Khansari; the head of the Iran Information Technology Organization, announced plans to provide Arbaeen tech services in the form of a super application next year and stated:  Thankfully our organization (ITO) could support and facilitate the pilgrim’s journey for the Arbaeen ceremony.

He emphasized the need for a consolidated approach to providing all necessary technological services for pilgrims, drawing from past experiences to ensure greater satisfaction for pilgrims using those services by saying: We should be able to provide all the needed services to the pilgrims for the next Arbaeen ceremony as a Super Application concept as right now we are providing integrated and aggregated e-services from different government’s operational organizations, institutions and establishments through a single window and the Iran Information Technology Organization invites businesses to maintain the constructive relationship and interaction.

 

Hamed Monkarsi, The Iran Information Technology Organization’s Deputy for Policy and Accreditation, expressed appreciation for the efforts of businesses in providing technological services to Arbaeen pilgrims. He then went on by stating that earlier this year, The Iran Information Technology Organization issued an invitation to identify and introduce active companies and firms in the context of providing services to Arbaeen pilgrims. Fifty companies announced their desire for participation, and twenty of them in different professional fields such as transportation, messaging, payment, currency exchange and etcetera were selected.

He highlighted the importance of all the firms and companies providing services for the Arbaeen ceremony to maintain interaction and keep in touch with the Iran Information Technology Organization throughout the year to overcome obstacles and share successful experiences and said: For the next Arbaeen ceremony, all the tech services will be Integrated and aggregated under the one Super Application. This will be a great breakthrough that will please the pilgrims when using those services.

Saraami, another member of the board of directors, discussed the growth, diversity, quantity, and quality of services provided during this year's Arbaeen pilgrimage. He outlined three fundamental tasks for planning future technological services, including addressing obstacles in obtaining necessary licenses for Arbaeen businesses and facilitating regulations and possibilities for exchange and interaction outside the country specially Iraq.

The event also included presentations and performance reports by companies providing technological services during Arbaeen, with certificates of appreciation presented to honor their contributions.
