In a meeting with the Venezuelan Minister of Transportation, Seyed Sattar Hashemi announced our country's readiness to transfer diverse experiences in the fields of e-government, artificial intelligence, and modern postal services to Caracas. Seyed Sattar Hashemi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, continued his meetings and talks on the first day of his trip to Caracas at the Iranian embassy in this city with Ramon Vázquez, Minister of Transportation of Venezuela and Head of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the beginning of the meeting, Hashemi referred to the holding of a meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Islamic Republic of Iran next month and expressed hope that the results of this visit and the holding of the upcoming meeting of the Joint Commission for Cooperation between the two countries will lead to the development of relations between Tehran and Caracas.

Hashemi continued by explaining the areas of joint cooperation between the two countries, referring to the capabilities of the Islamic Republic in the field of artificial intelligence and emphasizing that these capabilities can be made available to Venezuela in the field of transferring knowledge and experience related to artificial intelligence.

The Minister of Communications continued by referring to Iran's capabilities in smart road management and said:smart road management has contributed significantly to reducing traffic and our country has gained good experiences in this field. Now, we are ready to provide these experiences to Venezuela.

According to the Minister of Communications, a draft of postal cooperation between Iran and Venezuela will be prepared and will be reviewed at the upcoming meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation of the two countries so that it becomes an official document of Tehran-Caracas cooperation.

The description of the "National Window for Smart Government Services" and our country's 30-step promotion in the global "e-government" indicators by utilizing this window and emphasizing that by the end of the Seventh Development Plan in Iran, all services will be provided electronically were other topics raised in this meeting, and our country's Minister of Communications announced his readiness to transfer these experiences to Venezuela.

Ramon Vázquez, Minister of Transportation of Venezuela, also expressed his satisfaction with the visit of our country's Minister of Communications to Caracas and emphasized that this visit, despite the short time and the intensive nature of its meetings and programs, has had good results, and that "Nicolas Maduro", President of Venezuela, is personally following up on the results of the meetings and agreements made during this visit.

The Chairman of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Islamic Republic of Iran also emphasized that we are confident that the meetings held during this visit will lead to positive conclusions in the Joint Commission and facilitate the achievement of agreements.
