Space Technology Essential for Enhanced Land Single-Window Platform
During his visit to the Space Research Institute, the Head of Information Technology Organization of Iran, Mohammad Mohsen Sadr, emphasized the need to integrate space technology into the Land Single-Window Platform.
On January 21, 2025, Sadr reviewed the institute's latest achievements and examined the Khayyam satellite's capabilities, underscoring the importance of utilizing space data for land management.
Hassan Salariyeh, the Deputy Minister and Head of the Space Research Institute, introduced the institute's capabilities and provided an overview of the Khayyam satellite during the meeting. They discussed the satellite's potential for providing imagery necessary for the Land Single-Window Platform and explored ways to fulfill these needs.
Salariyeh highlighted the institute's proficiency in processing high-resolution images to identify land use changes.
The meeting concluded with agreements on future collaboration and the application of these technologies in the Land Single-Window Platform. This visit demonstrates the Space Research Institute of Iran's commitment to enhancing services and optimizing the use of space technologies in the country
